Salaries and qualifications
In the NHS, professionals will fall into different pay bands (1-9) and this will be determined by the job role. A qualified Nurse for instance, will start at band 5 and command a salary of £21K-£27K, whereas experience can see this rise to band 6 or 7 and earnings of £30K+. The top bands promise the highest salaries and these are most commonly earned by GPs, Consultants or Directors. Health or Medical jobs can present a challenging environment to candidates, although they are also considered personally rewarding.
