Northamptonshire, a UK county in the East Midlands, is home to an Automotive industry that benefits from a strong local reputation in Motorsport. Daventry, Wellingborough, Corby and Kettering are all popular locations for Automotive recruitment in the Northamptonshire area, and agencies are frequently in demand to fill a variety of permanent and temporary vacancies in the sector.
Recruitment agencies that aid employers in making Automotive hires can be found across Northamptonshire. Due to the diverse range of skills that are needed within the sector, Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing recruiters may all serve Automotive employers. Northampton is the county town and recruitment agencies can be found in the town centre, and on nearby business parks. Just to the north of Northampton is Kettering, and job seekers and businesses can similarly find Automotive staffing solutions here, predominantly close to the High Street. Employment firms that fill Motor jobs are present in all of Northamptonshire’s major towns.
Local Automotive employers
Motorsport has a key role in the Northamptonshire Automotive recruitment market and this is largely helped by the proximity of Silverstone Circuit. Based in Towcester, Silverstone is the home of the British Grand Prix and a number of F1 related firms are located close by as a result. These include Mercedes, which is situated in Brackley. Cosworth, an Automotive Engineering company, is another notable employer of local staff and the firm will look to recruit Design Engineers and Development Engineers. Low carbon technology is a growing area of recruitment that Automotive candidates in Northamptonshire may be interested in entering, with the Icon Environmental Innovation Centre in Daventry potentially offering career opportunities.
