While some specialise solely in management, many others offer expertise related to outsourcing, IT, energy, and a host of other specific business needs. Strategic consultancy and outsourcing advisory are two common specialisms sought after by recruitment agencies, but there is a wide variety of unique employment opportunity available in the sector.

 

The vast majority of jobs are London-based, and salaries tend to be significantly higher there than elsewhere in the UK. Salaries can vary between £20K and £75K, but the overall industry average is close to £40K.
