British Beer and Pub Association Their mission is to "promote and represent the business interests of the UK's brewing and pub sectors."
British Hospitality Association The British Hospitality Association has been representing the hotel, restaurant and catering industry for 90 years. The Association exists to ensure that the views of the British hospitality industry are represented in a forceful, coherent and co-ordinated way to government and policy makers in the UK and internationally, in order that its members' businesses can flourish.
British Institute of Innkeeping The BII is the professional body for the licensed retail sector
Confederation of Tourism, Hotel & Catering Management CTHCM provides recognised standards of vocational and management syllabi, examinations and awards for the hotel and travel industries. CTHCM works with approved centres worldwide and is acknowledged by leading hotel and travel industry organisations.
Institute of Brewing The Institute of Brewing & Distilling (IBD) is a members organisation dedicated to the education and training needs of brewers, distillers and those in related industries. We do this by offering a range of internationally recognised qualifications and the training to support them, either through direct instruction or distance learning.
Institute of Masters of Wine The Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW) exists to promote the highest level of educational achievement for the wine industry, culminating in the internationally recognised qualification of Master of Wine (MW). As a corporate entity it organises all aspects of the Master of Wine examination and education programme, runs tastings and other events programmes, provides membership services to the 257 MWs world-wide, and information and access to specialist advice for the wine industry in general.
International Hotel and Restaurant Association Founded in 1946, the IH&RA is the only business organisation representing the hospitality industry worldwide. Its members are national hotel and restaurant associations throughout the world, and international and national hotel and restaurant chains representing some 50 brands. Officially recognised by the United Nations, IH&RA monitors and lobbies all international agencies on behalf of this industry, estimated to comprise 300,000 hotels and 8 million restaurants, employ 60 million people and contribute 950 billion USD annually to the global economy.
United Kingdom Bartenders Guild The Guild promotes a high standard of workmanship and encourages the development of creative new cocktails through rewarding competitions both at home and abroad. The Guild also maintains a strict code of ethics within the bartending business.
